How we started
Sarathi began as a spark — a coffee table conversation about how media often entertains but rarely enlightens. The founders envisioned a companion, a guide walking alongside people on their journeys of learning, discovery, and growth. Thus, Sarathi was born — not just another podcast, but a space where media meets intellect. Each episode blends thought-provoking conversations, real-life stories, and actionable ideas that inspire transformation in both personal and professional life. The journey took countless late nights of planning and recording, but the vision remained clear: to build a community that doesn't just listen but engages, questions, and grows.

Establishment
The name “Sarathi” (or Saraathi) comes from the ancient Sanskrit word “Sārathi (सारथि)”, which means charioteer, guide, or companion on a journey. In Indian philosophy and culture, the most famous Sarathi is Lord Krishna in the Mahabharata, who guided Arjuna's chariot in the great war. But more importantly, he wasn't just driving — he was mentoring, advising, and supporting Arjuna through moments of doubt, fear, and decision-making.
A trusted guide who helps you navigate life's journey.
A companion who walks alongside you, offering wisdom and direction.
A mentor who empowers you to make better choices, grow, and move forward.
It symbolizes support, clarity, and guidance, much like a charioteer steering through life's paths.
